Body Massage – Two Days Plus Half Day Assessment £360
Course Description: Massage is a non-invasive, relaxing and natural therapy which involves rubbing and kneading of the muscles and joints with the hands to relieve tension or pain. A body massage qualification opens up many opportunities for advanced therapies and techniques learned will add new ideas to existing treatments such as facials and pedicures. Learn various massage techniques and movements for the whole body and how to adapt the massage to suit the client.
 

Course Requirements: Level 2 or equivalent, home study Anatomy and Physiology, Anatomy and Physiology assignment, home study of manual split into chapters for in between each lesson, practice at home between lessons. The first two days are booked approximately a week apart, with the third assessment day being approximately a fortnight to a month later.
Certificate Issued: On completion of the final assessment day.

Deep Tissue Massage and Advanced Techniques – 2 Days plus assessment day £360
Course Description: Deep Tissue Massage is a specific massage that focuses on releasing the deeper myofascial restrictions of the deeper muscle, tendons and ligaments of the body. It is sometimes known as Myofascial Release

Requirements: Students must be qualified in Body Massage for a minimum of six months and be competent with performing Body Massage. Evidence of Body Massage qualification is required before the course commences.
Certificate Issued: On completion of the final assessment day.
 

Hot Stones Massage – One Day £200
Course Description: Hot Stone Massage is the application of thermotherapy using heated stones. Learn to perform a full body and back massage using the hot stones with old and new techniques. The course includes theory, consultation and practical work.
 

Course Requirements: Level 2 NVQ or equivalent, Level 3 NVQ or equivalent OR Just Pampered Body Massage Diploma, home study of manual prior to lesson and showing competence of treatments on the day and complete written assessment.

Ear Candle Treatment – Half Day   £150
Course Description:
Learn the ancient tradition of ear candle treatment to clear the ear and relieve symptoms of earache, excessive ear wax, headaches, migraines and sinus problems.
Ear candles are hollow linen tubes infused with herbs. When placed in the ear and lit, ear wax, fungus etc are drawn to the heat in a chimney effect to clear the ear and sinuses.
The course includes theory, consultation and practical.

 

Course Requirements: Level 2 or Equivalent, home study of manual prior to course, perform treatment on models during the course and complete written assessment.

Maternity Massage – One Day £200
Course Description: Pregnancy is a very special time, therefore calming and comforting the senses plays a vital part in bonding with and giving birth to a healthy and happy baby. Maternity massage is the administration of gentle massage movements to helps soothe the body. Learn the specialist techniques and consultation requirements in performing a massage at a time when the body is experiencing emotional and physical upheaval.

Indian Head Massage – One Day    £200
Course Description: Learn the traditional Indian pressure point and massage therapy to the shoulders, arms, neck, upper back and scalp. The routine learned can be used alone as an independent treatment or incorporated to make a luxury facial or extended body massage. The course includes theory, consultation and practical.

Acupressure Seated Chair Massage – One Day     £200
This is a massage therapy that is carried out fully clothed and in the seated position, is sometimes referred to as on-site massage and is a hybrid of the ancient Oriental Shiatsu and Anma massages. It uses a specially designed portable chair. Traditionally, the sequence lasts no more than twenty minutes, making it ideal for use within corporate organisations. Learn to deliver this relaxing treatment within the salon, clients home or in their workplace.

Reflexology – Three Days plus Half Day Assessment     £430
Course Description: Foot reflexology is a pressure point therapy to the soles of the feet and around the foot area. The pressure is applied to specific points known as reflexes to encourage the body to heal from within. Reflexology has many psychological and physiological effects that affect the whole body, rather than just the area being worked on. Therefore, it is known as a holistic therapy. Traditional Thai Foot Massage - One Day     £200

Course Description: Traditional Thai Foot Massage is an ancient form of therapeutic healing. It is a massage to the feet and lower legs that incorporates massage, acupressure, stretching and use of a unique wooden pressure point stick, with a focus on Sen (energy) lines in the body. It includes rubbing, kneading, stretching and vibration techniques. The aim is to work the energy lines to release blocked energies and invite new energy flow, It is refreshing, revitalising and relaxing all at once.

Course Requirements: Level 2 in the form of NVQ Beauty Therapy or BTEC, ITEC, VTCT or equivalent or a similar qualification in Anatomy and Physiology is required to enrol on this course. Evidence will be required before the course can commence.

Course Description: Learn the art of Lash Lifting to open the eyes and lift the lashes from the root. Includes theory and practical work and all the information you need to get you started on this popular treatment

Course Requirements: Level 2 NVQ or equivalent, or Just Pampered Training Academy Diploma in Eye Treatments, home study of manual prior to course, competently perform a lifting treatment on the day, complete a written assessment and a further two case studies at home. The student should be competent at lash tinting before attending this course.

Course Description: Threading is an Ancient manual technique to remove hair using a loop of twisted antibacterial thread to trap the unwanted hair and pull from the root.

Definibrow Definition Brow Design – Half Day   £160
Course Description: Definibrow is a definition eyebrow design treatment, to encourage a thicker, fuller, more defined eyebrow. It brings factors of measuring, tinting, waxing, threading, tweezing, trimming and how to apply corrective make-up and conditioning treatments. Learn this popular technique to give your clients defined brows.

Course Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent., or Just Pampered Academy Diplomas in Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting and Facial Waxing. The candidate should be competent in waxing and tinting. Home study of the manual is required prior to course and on the day you will perform a treatment and complete a written assessment.

Brow Lamination - Half Day £160

Course Description: Brow Lamination is a procedure that sets the brow hairs into a new position using a perming technique. It helps the brows appear fuller and neater. Learn this popular technique to give your clients a full shaped brow.

Course Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent., plus Lash Lift or Eyelash Perming qualification.The candidate should be competent in waxing and tinting. Home study of the manual is required prior to course and on the day you will perform a treatment and complete a written assessment.

Female Intimate Waxing – One Day   £210
There are many different terms for Bikini wax that amount to near enough the same thing. An intimate female wax involves the removal of most or all of the hair from the pubic mound, underneath and back of the bikini areas. Learn the different shapes and styles of female intimate waxing using hot wax on the intimate areas. The course covers theory, consultation and practice of hot wax application before practical work on each other and models to competently perform a Hollywood wax.

Course Requirements: Level 2 NVQ or equivalent, or Just Pampered Academy Waxing Hair Removal Diploma, home study of manual prior to course, competently perform a Hollywood bikini wax on the day and complete a written assessment. Evidence is required before the course date. Students should be competent in waxing regular bikini lines and six months experience.

Spray Tanning – Half Day    £150
Course Description: Spray tanning is the application of tanning liquid using a spray gun to give a fine mist all over the body and provide a sunless tan. It is the safest way for your clients to achieve an all over tan.

Soak Off Gel Polish – Half Day    £150
Course Description: Learn to apply the popular Gel Polish, which is a nail colour applied like a regular nail polish and cured under a UV or LED lamp. It gives a high gloss finish that remains chip free for up to two weeks on fingernails, and even longer on toes. The course includes theory, consultation and practical work.

Course Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or Just Pampered Training Academy Manicures Natural Nail Care Diploma. The candidate should be competent in manicures. Home study of the manual is required prior to course and on the day you will perform a treatment and complete a written assessment.

Microdermabrasion – Half Day   £150
Course Description: This is a medical treatment using a highly controlled flow of crystals or a diamond tip to remove the dead, outermost layer of the skin of the face or a specific problem area of the body. Learn to provide face and body treatments to treat scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation, pitting, fine lines and more.

Course Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. The candidate should be competent at facial treatments and skincare consultations. Home study of the manual is required prior to course and on the day you will perform a facial and body treatment and complete a written assessment.

LED Light Therapy - Half Day £150

Course Description: LED Light therapy uses specific colour wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at varying depths to trigger biological processes for skin rejuvenation. An LED Light Therapy Facial is the application of an opera style mask to stimulate skin rejuvenation. LED Light Therapy delivers energy to skin cells to boost collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, leading to wound healing and boosted tissue growth. LED light throws out light in all directions, therefore flooding the skin all over, covering every curve and uneven texture. Confidence Booster Masterclass
‘Why would I need these courses?’
A Confidence Booster Masterclass is aimed at all therapists and not just managers, administration staff or owners. It could be a refresher on health and safety to ensure you are operating in a safe and professional manner for clients or to expand knowledge on anatomy and physiology to aid consultations and discussing health issues with clients. We also offer the masterclass in your chosen subject to improve your skills, brush up on knowledge and learn a more effective way of providing this treatment for clients.

Level Two Beauty Therapy Refresher Course - Half Day £150
This is for qualified Level Two therapists who have maybe been out of the industry for a while or lack confidence in the treatments they have studied. It will include mentoring and activities as home study, with practical in house sessions where you will perform a new assessment on each treatment. Prices will vary based on hours involved and the package will be designed for the individual and be delivered on a one to one basis. We suggest an initial half day session at £150 but will advise on consultation.

Waxing Masterclass - £45ph
After an initial consultation to discuss your background we will agree an initial time frame. We recommend a minimum of 2.5 hours initially, charged at £45ph. Extensions can be applied if you feel you require further assistance.

Beginners Courses

If you have a passion for Beauty and want to start in a specialised treatment, this is the starting point for you.

Our regular Beauty Courses and Holistic Courses are for qualified therapists looking to expand their menu. These treatments here are suitable for complete beginners.

We take our training seriously and are on hand to answer any questions you may have prior to the course commencing, during the course and after you qualify. Our training does not end in the classroom.

 

All courses are fully accredited with Professional Beauty Direct. This means, once you have been issued your certificate, you will be able to obtain insurance from PBD and most beauty insurers because it is a recognised qualification. You can verify our Academy by contacting Professional Beauty Direct or looking us up on their directory.

 

Not all courses with other providers are accredited and will not lead to a recognised qualification. Our advice is to take your time and do your research. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

It is important to have some background knowledge about Health and Safety, Professional Ethics, Code of Conduct , Hygiene and learning about how the industry works. Our Core Knowledge Course module covers all of this and forms an important part of your course. 

​

We want our classroom time to be focused on the treatment you wish to learn with as much practical time as possible. For this reason we complete the Core Knowledge prior to the course date and use it as a revision tool rather than new information.

All courses include a written manual, theory work, discussions, demonstration and practical time. You will be assessed in a verbal, written and practical assessment.

Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting £180
One Day: Tinting involves adding a special dye to the hairs of the lashes and/or brows to darken them. It’s a quick treatment which can eliminate or reduce the need for mascara and/or eyebrow pencil. Learn to safely perform a tinting treatment and how to adapt the treatment to suit individuals. Certificate issued on the day.

​Facial Waxing £180
One Day: Facial waxing is the removal of hair from the root using a covering of sticky wax to adhere to the hair. Wax is then pulled to remove the hair with it. It is a temporary method of hair removal. This course teaches you to safely apply and remove the wax to get the best hair free results, taking into account the hair type, direction of hair growth, condition of the skin and area to be waxed. Areas include but are not limited to eyebrows, upper lip and chin. Certificate issued on receipt of two further case studies

Waxing Hair Removal £320
Two Days: Day one  delivers the course with everything you need to know about waxing the body, including legs, underarms, bikini, forearm and  face. Day two is approximately two to four weeks later, following a minimum of two case studies at home. Day two recaps theory, works on troubleshooting, your written assessment, practical and verbal assessments with models for legs, bikini, underarm, forearm and facial waxing. Certificate issued on second day upon successful completion of the case studies.

Manicure Natural Nail Care £200
One Day: This course begins with home study prior to the lesson. During the lesson you will learn the anatomy and physiology behind manicures, reasons for having manual, each step broken down with the techniques, how to treat various clients, including ageing hands, brittle nails, dry skin and those who have previously had nail extensions. Plenty of painting practice and a full manicure on a live model. Certificate issued following the receipt of a further three case studies.

 

Pedicures and Foot Care £200
One Day: This course begins with home study prior to the lesson. During the face to face theory lesson, you will learn the anatomy and physiology behind pedicures, reasons for having them, each step broken down with the techniques, how to treat various clients, including brittle toenails, hard skin and dry skin on the soles. Plenty of painting practice and a full pedicure on a live model. Certificate issued following the receipt of a further three case studies.

 

Manicure Natural Nail Care and Pedicures Combined £370
Two Days. 

Facial Therapy £380
Three Days: Two full days plus a third assessment day between two and four weeks later. Day one and two are 1 to 2 weeks apart to allow for practice and revision in between. This course teaches all aspects of facial therapy to include cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extraction, massage, mask, serums and moisturisers. Learn how to analyse the skin to decide which products will work best for the client. Learn a full facial routine and how to use this as a base to create a wider facial menu so there is something to suit everyone. Certificate issued on day three.
